Hello,

I have posted a message requesting advices for X notebook, and got
some brief ideas. Thanks for those who has answer !!

However, I still have something in mind.

I have done a window shipping around the local market and found that
most notebooks have little memory and little disk size or even upgrade
is possible price is much higher than parts for desktops.

I was thinking about to buy one first and upgrade by myself. I don't
know whether it works or not since notebook SIMM module is proprietry
design and some harddrive has some power management function. Has anyone
has done self-upgrade for your notebook for 386bsd/X ?

I am dreaming whether there is modular, standard components for building
notebook by user as we do for our desktops. Maybe there is notebook kit
somewhere on earth. The question is: Do you know there is one ?

Next question is whether there is COLOR X / 386bsd Notebook running
happily somewhere on earth. If you do have one, please let me know, and
love to have another one.

Thanks in advance,

Thomason FAN.
My brain's secondary storage is my computer.
