(the #ifdefs for MACH in them are for Mach >2.6). Or has anyone else written the device driver themselves? I wrote a 1740 enhanced mode driver for Mach/OSF. This is included in the current release of OSF/1 MK (NORMA_14). CMU and OSF periodically reconcile their code, so that driver should soon find its way into Mach. The port should be painless as I tested and debugged my code with MK77, only later modifying it for OSF/1. I send a copy of the code to Alessandro Forin at CMU, just to let him know it exists. I have also heard rumours of another 1740 enhanced mode driver, but did not pursue them. -- -----------------------------------------------------------|"Nothing travels | | Dominic Herity, dherity@cs.tcd.ie, |faster than light, | |Computer Science Dept, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland.|except possibly bad| | Tel : +353-1-6772941 ext 1720 Fax : +353-1-6772204 |news"-Douglas Adams|
