I have cancelled the post and will try to do it again. (Although some of you got the gist of it anyway. Thanks.) I was wondering if it is possible to try out changes in the kernel without having to totally reboot. I have recieved some correspondence from a Linux person that Linux supports some kind of reloader package that makes it easy to change and test the kernel. john galbraith galbrait@rintintin.colorado.edu
