Then Bruce Evans' driver will probably be ported to bot NetBSD and be in the 386bsd patchkit. Even with simple 16440's it does not give much silo overflows. I am running it now for quite some time , together wihn bidirectional extensions and have not seen 1 silo overflow. I encountered *lots* of them before I used this driver. -Guido
