Ether Card Date: 12 May 1993 22:21:59 GMT Organization: University of Washington, Seattle Lines: 12 Message-ID: <1srta7INNjbt@news.u.washington.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: byron.u.washington.edu I am trying to install 386BSD on my 486-66 machine from the binary distribution. It seems that the Ether card is not recognized by the OS. My Ether card is a 16bit ELAN-2000 (which is not on the list of supported Ether cards in the release notes) I have tried IRQ9 but no luck. Do I have to reconfig the based I/O address on the Ether card? Or I have to recompile the kernal to get it to work? Any help is appreciated Jack
