Hi experienced 386bsd users,
I am a new comer of 386bsd. I have install a 386bsd to my 386-pc last night.
But I have two questions and want to seek for someone's kindness help.
Q1: The INSTALL.NOTES said that we can use /usr/distbin/shutdown with the
command 'shutdown -todos' to shutdown 386bsd, so that next time we can
boot from dos. But when I try this command, the system gives me the message
'shutdown : can't boot to dos'
WHY?
Q2: Is 386bsd supported share library? It is because I want to install
XFree86 on my system. If 386bsd does not support share library, my
disk space will be used up quickly since I only give a 200MB partition
to run 386bsd. Or is there any addition packages, after install that I
can enjoy the benefits of share library? Can anyone give me the location
of those packages if they exist?
Thank you very much!
