I had the same problem a while back.  Nate was kind enough to email
me the answer.  I considered posting the solution but at the time it 
looked as if I was the only one having the problem.  Perhaps its time
we bundled a new disktab in the patchkit, one with new drives added
old ones fixed.  It might save a few people a lot of grief.
