There appear to be no manpages for bootxx or xxboot files in /usr/mdec, and the notes in /usr/src/sys.386bsd/i386/boot don't seem very descriptive. Also, BTW, apropos finds an entry for installboot.8 but that doesn't seem to exist as a man page or as a binary.
