Could it be that my existing filesystem on wd0a/wd0h does not match
anymore the assumptions/changes made to wd.c and the kernel in
patch-a.tar ?

Do I have to build a new fs? I did a re-link of the kernel again and
now I'm getting an error message during boot (and crash anyway) saying
something like wd ... out of bounds of filesystem .
