My 386bsd 0.1.3 system crashes when debugging certain programs (see my
previous post on gcc 2.4.0) as well as other times, such as when a
character dies in rogue. I can see an argument for calling the latter
behaviour a feature, but I want to stop it anyway.

Since I don't really expect anyone to know exactly what the problem
is, I am hoping for a few pointers to help track down the problem(s).
Stuff like, how do I get a system core dump/where is it kept; where
is the documentation I need in order to read it and get started
debugging the kernel, etc.
