I am trying to recompile the kernel for NetBSD so that I can
use my lpt1 port for printing. By looking in the interuptles
lpt patchkit, I found how to modify my config file. I run config
and all is well. When I go to do a compile though, I get all the
way through the compile to the linking and it bombs with:
conf.o: Undefined symbol _lptioctl Reference from data segment.

I am using the gcc 1.39 that came with NetBSD, also I had tried
to compile under 2.3.3, and still no luck. :(
If anyone out there who have been able to compile the kernel
please get in touch with me. I know the it's a problem with
the libraries, and maybe I can have new ones sent...
    Thank you for your time...
