Date: Tue, 25 May 1993 15:42:56 GMT Lines: 6 The Mach boot code uses bios to read the disk. Because of this feature, it is limited to a 10 bit cylinder number. So, while the boot code can deal with bad blocks, it cannot deal with them when they are above 1024 cylinders. Sigh ..... eric
