You can't have more than one serial port per IRQ line under the standard serial driver. The solution is to set com3 to use IRQ 2 or 5, or get Chris Demitriou's com-multiport driver that supports sharing IRQ lines. Warning: I could never get com-multiport to work with a 2-port serial card and an internal modem--because mice dont like to share IRQ's... Hope this helps.... Chris.
