I recently bought a Colorado Jumbo tape unit (250Mb) on the assumption that there was a Linux driver (QIC-40/80, runs off the floppy port). There isn't. Since my posting on the Linux newsgroup, I've received about 10-15 messages from people requesting a driver and there are frequent postings wth the same request. I know that a Linux/bsd386 driver is possible as CMS offers an SCO driver. Some of my mail has suggested that there are 386bsd people who are working on a driver. Is that true? What is your status?, etc., etc. Howard Foster, a concerned citizen -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Howard Foster (nsf@ced.berkeley.edu) Ph.D. candidate, environmental planning, UC Berkeley.
