Although I am an experienced Unix Administrator and Support technician, _and_ have already compiled and installed X11R5 from scratch on a commercial Unix System I wasn't able to get X11R5 (XFree) installed properly on a 386BSD 0.1 0.2.3. Maybe the binary version is too old (6 Months old). Ok, it runs, but the mouse cursor isn't there and I can't type in any character in an xterm session. I think I need an idiot proofed installation, too ;-) Or some qualified help before that ;-) But in general ....
