I've got 32 megs of swap & 8 megs of ram. Before it hangs, my swapinfo tells me that all (32 megs) the swap area is being used, but I have to run swapinfo (with a script looping on swapinfo every 5 seconds) to know the problem. The OS doesn't tell me that swap area is fully used. Maybe I'll try to build the X386 kernel using gcc 1.x instead of 2.x big@info.polymtl.ca
