Date: 1 Jun 1993 21:16:39 GMT Organization: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Lines: 15 Distribution: world Message-ID: <1uggvnINNatk@news.u.washington.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: wanman.fhcrc.org I have a VAXstation 4000 which is currently running VMS. I need to use the machine to run some core-type services under TCP/IP...namely BIND and Sendmail. I know that BSD will enable me to do this. My question is, has anyone had any experience installing BSD Unix on the VAXstation 4000? I'll post my successes & failures to the net for everyone's edification. Thanks. -Jeff Payne Network Manager, InterServe -- -Jeffrey Payne, Network Administrator Internet: jpayne@nwnet.net Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center 1124 Columbia St, MS-LV101 Voice: (206) 667-5063 Seattle, WA 98104 Fax: (206) 667-6223
