Subject: What has happened, if an xterm doesn't accept any keystrokes

Finally I got X11 up and running with an ET4000 local bus card.
Works nice.

I played a bit with X11 ... everything is ok.

After playing around with X11, playing with the parameters
in the Xconfig file (only tuning the screen resolution related
parameters) I have since yesterday evening the problem,
that any xterm session, that I start, doesn't accept any input
from my keyboard.

If I move the mouse pointer into the xterm window, the cursor
changes into the "filled" form and the boarder around the window
shows, that this window is now active.

But if I type in some characters ... nothing happpens.
I tried to solve the problem in running the MAKEDEV script
again to make sure, that each special file has proper permissions.
No difference.

I can't imagine what happened to my configuration/system, that causes
this wrong behaviour.

I hope, that somebody can help.
Please reply via E-Mail ... I'll summarize later.

Thanks
	Andreas
