Hello,

I have installed XFree86-1.2 on my system, and it locks up very frequently
(usually when I move the mouse pointer around rapidly, or move windows
around on the screen.) The mouse pointer or moved window will be
half-drawn, when the system locks (hung keyboard, hung mouse.) Also, the
mouse will get jumpy and start to leave "droppings" beforehand, when a crash
is imminent. I am running X in 1024x768 mode.

I have tried setting the mouse port speed & sample rate in Xconfig to
different settings (thinking that perhaps it was being flooded with too many
mouse messages), but to no avail. Right now it is at 1200 baud.

My system is:
	386-33 + 387, 12MB RAM
	386bsd-0.1 up to patchkit 0.2.3
	syscons-0.2 console driver
	XFree86-1.2
	Microsoft Mouse
	Diamond Speedstar w/1MB (ET4000 chipset)
	big (70MB) swap partition

Is there something else that needs to be done in configuring X that I have
forgotten?
Any help would be appreciated.
