I have an IDE drive (primary), a SCSI drive (secondary) on an Adaptec 1540B, and a CD-ROM drive (also on the Adaptec). I'm trying to install 386BSD on the IDE drive. The boot floppy boots fine until it gets to "as0" (which I assume stands for Adaptec SCSI), at which point it hangs. Do I need a different boot floppy? If so, where can I get it? I looked for a FAQ, but the only thing I could find was one on supported tape drives. -- Tim Buck "If you're not part of the solution, you timbuck@borg.lib.vt.edu must be part of the precipitate." ------------------- Standard disclaimers apply -------------------
