I am just getting a PC (at last!) and I want to install BSD as well as keeping windows on the system. I know fairly little about partitions, etc on a PC. :( I would be willing to switch to OS/2 if I needed to, but I have heard of something called a boot manager that would help. Is there any text file somewhere that I could grab a copy of that describes how to install BSD without making your computer a total BSD computer? Also, the computer I'm getting will have the new Diamond Viper VLB video card. Is there a driver somewhere that will allow me to use this with XFree86? It uses the Power 9000 chip if that is any help. Anyway, I would be sincerely grateful for any help that I could get. Thank you! David Ross GSR - If you see this, yeah it's me. I just can't get back to hastur right now. :(
