I recently decided to install 386BSD on my system and seem to have
problems.

I have an Adaptec 1522 adapter which doesn't seem to be supported
by 386/Net BSD or Linux.

Does anyone know if this is going to change soon or should I go into debt
and get an Adaptec 1542?

What is it about the 1522 that makes it incompatible with these Unix OSs?
