The current version of my codrv is codrv-0.1.2-110593.tar.z, e.g. from ftp.uni-duisburg.de:/pub/unix/386bsd-0.1/unofficial/codrv. The same directory also has files x[cm]_012.z which are tar files with a suitable color/mono xserver and a kbd_mode "replacement" :-) (Look into this archive to understand the smiley). codrv-0.1.2 has been reported to run with NetBSD-0.8, but needs a fix for vm_mmap.c to run the xserver correctly. Several problems due to changed data and filestructure layouts have been reported for NetBSD-0.8a. Since I do not run NetBSD, and am not willing to follow all the major and minor modifications in the NetBSD sources all day, I leave the job to port codrv-0.1.2 to another operating system to anyone else who is interested in this. I would however be willing to collect the changes and coordinate them into a codrv-NetBSD update, but I cannot supply probably special configured kernels for NetBSD. |> I did try to replace the kernel with a 'kernel-1.2.codrv-fix-1' which |> was included in the XFree86-1.2 distribution, but that didn't work (not |> even with the codrv-Xserver). |> (The suplied 'kernel-1.2.pccons-fix-1' didn't work either, only the |> original NetBSD kernel with the pccons-Xserver works.) |> Let me state that I'm not a UNIX whiz (but then you probably gathered |> that from my questions, which BTW hopefully aren't FAQs :) ). |> |> Thanx in advance, |> Vince. |> |> -- |> Vincent Verleun verleun@fys.ruu.nl. |> Utrecht University Physics Department Data Acquisiton Group. |> Buys Ballotlab 063b, Princetonplein 5, 3584 CC Utrecht, the Netherlands. -- Dr. Holger Veit | INTERNET: Holger.Veit@gmd.de | | / GMD-SET German National Research | Phone: (+49) 2241 14 2448 |__| / Center for Computer Science | Fax: (+49) 2241 14 2342 | | / P.O.
