According to a previous posting, Adaptec claims that the external cable must be SCSI-2 compliant to avoid termination problems. I have not tried this out had enough headaches with the initial installation that I am thrill to leave alone and working :-) Also, some of the adaptec's setting may upset booting your system when I get home tonite I will post my settings.
