I too have had that exact same problem.
I running on a 386 Zenith data system.
I'm able to mount the hard drive where i have installed the
files and they all appear to be in place, when i boot
from the floopy again, the system hangs indefinately when
i attempt booting from the hard drive. I have the system
installed in a 40mb partition (second), on a 42MB
magnetic peripherals inc. drive (i assume standard for zenith systems).
In the other partition i have dos installed and that will still
boot fine after reseting the partition active.

Also when i boot from the TinyBSD it won't recognize my ethernet card.
(irq 5) , is it supposed to? or does the tiny system only
look for drives and monitor and com ports?

I also have a second hardrive which is an 80mb seagate formated
for dos. I had originally intended to use that for my 386BSD,
but couldn't seem to get it to install there, is it possible?
Any help or suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
