Well, it doesn't work. Before I really As someone pointed out, I should have said it wasn't found by the probe. I eventually traced it down to a jumper on the card itself, using some MSDOG test programs which mimiced the NETBSD init + probe code. AE3 cards have a documented jumper W8 for non-standard bus timings. That was the problem. I had to jumper the card for "B" rather than "A" to use a non-standard bus timing. Looking at an older Artisoft card (AE2) it appears the jumper to change is W7. (I have to dig up an older manual to double check) I hope this helps somebody out. -- Dyane Bruce db@diana.ocunix.on.ca 29 Vanson Ave. Nepean On, K2E 6A9 So who first started the tradition of 613-225-9920 putting witty sayings in sigs anyway?
