I've got two machines -- a 386SX and a 486DX2. The Tiny BSD disk boots fine on the SX, but just sits there on the DX2. I'm just starting to learn Unix (et. al.) and haven't got massive amounts of disk space to spare, so I'm trying to do some simple things on floppy. I saw a post a couple of days ago saying that 486DX2s need a boot patch. Does anyone know about this, has the patch, can give me advice on how to install it? I don't have Unix running on anything else -- strictly MS-DOS for the moment. -------------- Gavin
