Just put your "good" enquire from 1.39 there when it fails, touch it so it is newer than enquire.c, and keep on makin'. Then when you rebuild using the NEW gcc you will be fine and you will be able to make a new enquire. The new enquire can't be built with the old gcc for some reason. Why 2.4.2? You should probably move on to 2.4.3.1 before putting in more effort; it fixes a number of problems in earlier revs o' the week, and has now lasted for almost **2** weeks! DCN --- David C.
