After disabling all features the standard as-driver has no problems. The first problems comes from disklabel, which gives nonsense parameters. Only 2048 secs/cyl and everything else was set to 0. After entering the correct values for my drive i could install filesystems on the drive. But there is no chance to boot from the as0 device. The next problem i got when i tried to copy a bunch of files. After a few files copied the kernel tells me 'trap 19 ...' and i have to reboot. Is there a newer SCSI driver for the kernel i should use? I forget to mention that i boot from an ESDI drive. Regards Frank -- Frank Nobis fn@irb.informatik.uni-dortmund.de Univ.
