as someone who has gotten used to system v curses, i was slightly shocked,
when i discovered, that there is no support for KEY_UP, KEY_DOWN etc. in bsd
curses. 

i have at hand a copy of pavel curtis' curses package (ncurses ?), but it's
out of date (dates in headers from 1982 or so) and does compile but not run
on 386bsd.

is there a more "complete" curses available, or a newer version of pavel
curtis' code?
