Message-ID: <1993Jun17.175544.23528@nntpxfer.psi.com> Sender: news@nntpxfer.psi.com Nntp-Posting-Host: sun1.claremont.com Organization: Claremont Systems Inc. According to the patchkit (0.2.3) COMPAQ's don't like the primary boot, so I figured I use Julian's boot blocks. I compiled them, everying worked great, but I can't install them (or any other) on the floppy using 'disklabel'. I have even tried to install the boot blocks created from patch 73, but that fails the same way. HELP!!!! Thaks in advance, Brian -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- *...imagine how little used calculus would have been if a court had decided that no one could study, use or do research on it without paying a royalty to Newton's designated heirs.* -- The Independent, October 5, 1992
