after running 'screen -r' from a serial port login, the second half
(approximately) of every screen refresh ends up in the bit-bucket.
This does not happen with (virtual) console logins or network logins.
It only happens after a reattach of a previous session. There is no
obvious difference between 'screen' and 'screen -r' that would explain
this. Does anyone know what is going on, or how to fix it?

The characters are dropped somewhere between the pty and the com port.
It has nothing to do with the serial port stty settings which are not
changed.

iScreen 3.2
