Message-ID: <C8xK18.57q@murdoch.acc.Virginia.EDU> Sender: usenet@murdoch.acc.Virginia.EDU Organization: University of Virginia Date: Sun, 20 Jun 1993 17:17:32 GMT Lines: 10 I was wondering if the /src files are necessary if I do not intend on rebuilding the kernel? (I'm totally foreign to administrating a UNIX system, so please forgive my naive question). Also, what does one do with the files extracted from the src01.* series? What files do you compile with them? Why are they necessary? Any friendly help would be greatly appreciated. I read the faq, and I'm no further along in understanding than I was to begin with. Thank you very much for your time.
