Disklabel doesn't work for me in any of the recently suggested formats. I'm trying to label a second SCSI disk on a 1542b. Here's the disktab entry: fj|Fujistu Giga:\ :dt=SCSI:ty=winchester:\ :nc#1819:ns#77:nt#15:\ :se#512:\ :pa#2100945:oa#0:ta=4.2BSD:ba#4096:fa#512:\ :pc#2100945:oc#0: I did: disklabel -w -r [sd1,/dev/rsd1[a-h]] fj [/usr/mdec/sdboot /usr/mdec/bootsd] and all possible permutations thereof =8@ Result: Bootstrap doesn't leave room for disk label. Who's boots use so much room on my label? -- Thorsten Laux, Insitut fuer Kernphysik, Mathematische Physik email: laux@ifk-mp.uni-kiel.d400.de
