Hi,
I recently upgraded my disklabel from the original bootstrap that came with
386bsd-0.1 to Julian's new bootblocks. I tried the bootblocks that came along
with the patchkit (?) and also the bootblocks that were installed on a machine
with netbsd - it did not work: I also got
"Bootstrap doesn't leave room for disk label."
Next I tried the source of the bootstrap delivered with (I believe) NetBSD-current.
The stuff compiled and installed well. And using disklabel to install the
bootstrap did work :-) (But don't ask me why).
Maybe this helps?
Thomas
