 Hello,

does anybody know if there's a working 'csh' for 386bsd available yet ? I got
the sources from the NET/2 dist, but there seem to be conf.h & err.h missing
a pointer to those files would be fine .. just couldn't find them :}

Getty: After compiling the new init.c the machine would come up in multiuser
just fine, even can log on from the com0 port ... but then I don't get any
prompt, nor do I see output of commands - just the errormessage when you
enter a name that does not exist. Running a 'sh' redirecting all input/output
to the device I am on eg. sh </dev/com0 1>/dev/com0 2>/dev/com0 n>/dev/com0
gives me a prompt and I can work just fine. Any Ideas ?

Additionally, Getty writes just a bunch of garbage to the console instead of
the welcome message - logging on still works, but also with the above
restriction.

vm_fault :

If I try to compile the new dependencies for a new kernel with make depend,
the machine will start to list all the files it wants to have a look at and
then crashes with following msg :

vm_fault(fe0c9000,fe3ef000,3,0) -> 1 type c, code 2
traptype 12 code=2 eip=fe03844c cs=fe03008 eflags=10207 cr2=fe3ef000 cpl=12
panic: trap

then dumps and reboots. My swap partition is 21888 blocks, 6MB mem, all shadow
mem disabled. Before I compiled the kernel myself (SMALL) using make 386bsd
without the updated .depend file, the machine would crash just before it
started to dump. Now it dumps ok,but I'd rather have it create the .depend file

If anybody has some hints please reply by mail, I'll post a summary if needed.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Pascal Pederiva
