Ok, here's the situation. I'm trying to connect to a machine at
   work using slip.

My machine at home has an entry in the host table of the machine at work which
   looks something like...

130.20.3.111 camelot

The host table on my machine at home has an entry for the machine at work which
   looks like...

130.20.3.110 toady

(Ohh btw toady is a sparc 2 running SunOS 4.1.3 or .2)

ran slattach on the sparc 2 using the serial device cua0 at 9600 baud.
It is using a ZOOM v.32/v.42bis 14.4 modem in asynchronous mode. If I
ping camelot I can see the send light on the modem blinking. (and at home
I can see the receive light blinking) so I am sending/receiving something.
but ping nevr appears to seam to get there.

If there is anyone out there that has successfully gotten SLIP to work
could you PLEASE give me some help. Thanks you very much.

Brad C.
