Thanks you very much. > Make sure that you have XON/XOFF turn off in your modem and if you are using netbsd try using slip without header compression: slattach -s 19200 /dev/com0, for example. Don't forget to add: route add default ip_address_of_gateway usually what i do is : slattach -c -s 19200 /dev/com0 ifconfig sl0 inet ip_address ip_address route add default ip_address Make sure that are using the same netmask as your sun :-) I use a cisco router which has slip service so when I log in to the router I type slip and it gives an ip address which I use in the note above.
