Oh yes, if you don't want to use you good backup ;) make sure that partition type in hex is 0xA5 - this will prevent NetBSD from overwriting your master boot record. This is mentioned in install notes for 386BSD 0.1 but not for NetBSD (I did have to use my backup). Oleg -- Oleg
