I have been trying to install 386BSD but with no success.
Basically, using the 'install' command on the boot floppy,
a partition is formatted and several files copied over to it.
Then, the system reboots and uses the hard disk to start up
386BSD. Unfortunately, the system encounters a trap early
on and reboots again (without giving me time to see what the
trap numbers are!)

I believe I could boot from a floppy, and mount the hard disk
to investigate the problem. However, I'm not sure how to do so.

I have the following system:

  386-33 AMD processor
  8 megs ram
  Maxtor drive
