I just got the sys.tar.z for netbsd-current yesterday. After building
the kernel (using a pretty standard config, not weird options or
anything, just commented the SCSI devices out of GENERICISA) the machine
won't boot on it. It dies when checking for devices, where it gets
through all of the devices including ec0 (3c503), but never gets to the
npx ('387). I've tried it with emulation on and with it off, but
haven't tried disabling my math-co.

This is the same problem that I had with the fast interrupt drivers for
386bsd. Is there a problem using a 386+387 combo with NetBSD?

Here is my machine configuration:
    80386 + 80387 at 16 mHz
    8.5 megs of memory (6 are 32-bit, 2.5 are 16-bit)
two hard drivers (120 meg talon (samsung), and 244 meg WD caviar)
    two floppies
    one printer (378)
    two serial (3f8, 2f8)
    one internal modem (3e8/irq5)
    paradise vga (256k)

any ideas? I'm not on the netbsd-current list yet, or i would post there...
