Keywords: netbsd and 386bsd Lines: 15 Do you want to see the 386BSD world become like Yugoslavia? I hope that the soon to come new Jolitz release is termed "good" by CKD. If that turns out to be the case, The -need- for NetBSD will go away. Just like if the world was perfect and stressless, then no one would want narcotics. If 386BSD becomes a lot less rough on the edges (such as configuration), then NetBSD won't be needed. I am not biased towards either product. I've used both and they do that same thing for me. Difference? I set up NetBSD in 1/2 hour plus ftp time. 386BSD took hours of irc'ing and getting help from mycroft. Also, having kernel sources separated from the rest of the sources is a very good idea. It makes a 200 meg drive system really workable. Scott sander@hastur.cc.edu
