I ran it as RLL, and it worked fine, other than the bad sectors... When switching to MFM, I find I cannot boot. With an old MFM controller, I get a kernel trap 18 during boot. With a newer one, I get a hung machine, again during kernel boot. I can use this drive perfectly under DOS... I believe the card might be timing out, and have stuck a few debugging statements in the wd driver to see what gives. It waits a long time on the wdctlr() [I believe] commands, and the initial open seems to fail...
