If I seem to recall having calculated once that doing the same thing with postcards, if all people actually receiving a postcard actually follow the instructions, *very shortly* after this insanity is initiated *all* available trees on the *whole* surface of the earth would have to be made into postcards. Luckily, it wouldn't work out that way since I don't believe people are stupid enough to write postcards on the same thread more than once, and about ten generations down the line *everybody* would have got a postcard.
