No, DON'T send mail to xfree86-beta. This mailing list exists SOLELY for
use by the XFree86 development community for internal discussions.

XFree86-related questions should be (a) posted to comp.windows.x.i386unix
or (b) mailed to xfree86@physics.su.oz.au. The former is preferable.

BTW - the problem is NOT an interaction with olwm. The problem is something
to do with drawing certain 0-width lines. olwm happens to do this when
iconifying things, so it often causes the problem to show up. So do xfig
and cbzone, both of which draw lots of 0-width lines.

Personally, I wonder if the implementation of GAS on 386BSD isn't buggy.
The exact same assembler code, asm-op for asm-op is used on Linux, and has
shown no problems whatsoever. The same assembler code (in USL format) also
shows no problems on SVR3 and SVR4. Has anyone compared the actual .o
files (disassembling them, or comparing the text segments)?

XFree86 requests should be addressed to <xfree86@physics.su.oz.au>
