I havn't used ksrc08, so

    1) Dunno

    2) Put a line in that says

            pseudo-device sl 1

       Change the '1' if you need more than one slip connection.

This works on standard kernels, although I still have slio overflows after
installing the 2.4.3 patch-kit.  Is there a new device in this patch-kit ?
