AH> Amancio If you use a v.42bis modem I would *strongly* recommend that you ensure that the flow control is enabled on the serial port (use stty crtscts to do this). I did modify slattach to add a flag to enable the hardware flow control on the port, I believe that this made it to the patch kit. If it is not there I would be happy to mail people a copy of the patches. BTW the lack of flow control introduces interesting subtleties into the link, without flow control I had and asymmetric link - I could ftp ok one way but it would lock up in the other direction. -- Brett Lymn
