Hi
I've the same problems with my ne2000 too.
mounting nfs works.
My nfs-client: 386DX40 NetBSD08 ne2000
4 client-deamons 0% CPU
My nfs-server 486DX50 NetBSD08 ne2000
4 server-deamons 98% CPU (~24% per deamon)
cd and ls on nfs-partition comes quickly, (2%CPU!)
cp or other operations to moving much Bytes goes VERY slowly
and keystrokes comes in after some minutes (on console)
After examining the wire between these two ne2000's:
THERE ARE NO (NOTHING!!!!!) TRAFFIC!
And a ping-result says: 50%-70% loss packages!
SHIT!
(ftp and telnet works fast and with no "loss packages")
After 2 weeks experimental workaround:
I've got a gun and hang me up......
Bis denne ... Lars.
