I currently have 2 IDE drives (200 + 340), a Mitsumi CDROM and a Future Domain SCSI with an Archive Viper 2150 attached. The only reason for the SCSI was to hang the tape drive on. The Tape drive cost under $400 and the SCSI card only $50. True it's more than the $200 you mention but it's less than the $1000 as well. I have no problems with this setup and I can attach more stuff to the SCSI *if* I choose to. Just my $0.02 worth. Jo -- Jo Stockley jvs@netcom.com
