I would have thought they all would be able to send and recieve data so it must mean something else? I have recently hooked a machine running NetBSD 0.8 to another computer through the serial port so I can transfer some source code over to the NetBSD machine. I login and start the transfer (using kermit) but it always locks up after a bit, and it takes a reboot for the port to become usable again. Is this something others have seen or should I be looking for something in my setup? -- Brian Waters rutgers!bbin!jbw
